The Gabriél BK160 TR was designed as a tandem-seating, military-style basic trainer which serves for selection and introduction of cadets to aviation.
Its full-glass cockpit and friendly ergonomic arrangements in both front and rear cockpits help to embed airmanship and aviation thinking to the trainees.
The aircraft includes debriefing capability, instructor override as well as in-flight cadet monitoring. It looks and feels like a single-seat combat aircraft.
